Kane County is an enormous area. Much of the county resides in remote, hard to reach places. That's why the Kane County Sheriff's Department has implemented a search and rescue program. Volunteers from all over the county and all different backgrounds spend hours training to be able to help out in the case of an emergency all with the hopes that they'll never have to use that training.
