Host Adventure: Blue Mountain via ATV

This week on At Your Leisure, hosts Steven Heumann and Malia Bascom head out to Vernal, Utah and hit the trail to Blue Mountain. From the top of the mountain, you can see the entire Uintah Basin and even all the way into Colorado. It's a beautiful ride, not too hard and fun for the whole family. Along the way, there are some interesting sights to see, such as ancient Native American petroglyphs and historic outlaw sites. If you asked most folks if they knew Lake Powell, they'd probably say yes. If you asked most folks if they knew Red Fleet, they'd probably look at you funny. Red Fleet Reservoir, located in just outside of Vernal, Utah is better know to the locals as being a "mini Lake Powell". The red rock walls associated with the famed southern lake are present and just as iconic at Red Fleet as they are at Powell.
It's a wonderful destination that you'll want to check out on your next vacation.
